N’Dadiya Essossannèyou, responsible for legal affairs at Togo Telecom, has been elected as the new president of the Togolese Volleyball Federation (FTVB). He succeeds Yaovi Babanawo, the outgoing president, who chose not to seek re-election. N’Dadiya Essossannèyou secured 14 out of 17 votes, defeating Mesmin Ategoua in the election.
In his post-election statement, the newly elected president expressed his vision for making Togo a prominent volleyball nation. He emphasized the importance of training club trainers, capacity building for league managers, clubs, and referees. Additionally, he highlighted the continuation of school volleyball programs, focusing on monitoring and promoting the discipline in prefectures and establishments.
The new FTVB office, led by N’Dadiya Essossannèyou, comprises nine members, all elected through absolute suffrage.
