Egyptian Premier League side Pyramids FC are pushing to secure the services of Iraqi sensation Ali Jasim ahead of the summer transfer window.
The club has been closely tracking the talented midfielder throughout the current season, hoping to add him to their squad for the next campaign.
Ali Jasim is currently on loan at Dutch side Almere City from Italy’s Como. He has made a solid impact in Europe, netting once in eight games for Almere City and scoring twice in four appearances for Como. His performance has caught the attention of Pyramids FC scouts and officials alike.
A source within the club confirmed that talks are progressing and that an official offer is being prepared. “There is already a desire to sign Ali Jasim next season,” the source told Kooora.
Pyramids currently have five foreign players in their squad, Walid El Karti, Mohamed El Chibi, Blatty Touré, Feston Mayele, and Siddiq Egola, matching the league’s foreign player limit, meaning one may need to depart to make room for Jasim.
