Kaizer Chiefs have lost their influential attacker Wandile Duba to suspension ahead of the crucial Soweto derby against Orlando Pirates.

The enterprising forward has accrued four yellow cards and will have to sit out when Kaizer Chiefs lock horns with Pirates on Saturday.

Duba picked his fourth yellow card of the campaign at the weekend when the side succumbed to a 2-1 defeat to Marumo Gallants in the top-flight.

Meanwhile, he is expected to be available for the South African Cup semifinal clash against Orlando Pirates scheduled for May 10, 2025.

His suspension come as a huge blow for coach Nasreddine Nabi’s outfit, as both teams will be yearning for victory to secure the bragging rights.

Kaizer Chiefs will now to backup forwards Ranga Chivaviro and Tashreeq Morris in the absence of Wandile Duba

The 20-year-old young attacker has racked up six goals and provided three assists from 26 appearances across competitions.
