Moroccan youngster Eliesse Ben Seghir set for Monaco departure as several clubs push to secure his signature

Moroccan international Eliesse Ben Seghir is reportedly on his way out of AS Monaco at the end of the 2024/25 football season.

The 20-year-old broke into the AS Monaco first team during the 2022/23 football season under Coach Philippe Clement.

Although the 2023/24 season did not go as planned due to an injury setback, Eliesse Ben Seghir has bounced back this season, establishing himself as one of the key player for his team.

He has featured in 30 matches in the French Ligue 1 this season and has managed to impress.

However, it is reported that the youngster is growing frustrated at the club as he wants a bigger role.

As a result, Eliesse Ben Seghir wants to consider other options at the end of the season and may be tempted to end his stay at AS Monaco.

The Moroccan, who was born in France, is a transfer target of top European clubs heading into the summer transfer window.

The likes of Liverpool, Manchester City, Bayern Munich, and Bayer Leverkusen have all shown interest in the midfielder.
