Nigerian international Alex Iwobi has heaped praise on England and Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice.
According to him, Rice is a big baller and a great player for Arsenal to have. Iwobi believes the former West Ham United player is a world-class midfielder and one of the best in the world.
“Nah, he’s [Declan Rice] a big baller. Even when he was at West Ham. Not only is he great technically, he runs everywhere, he covers every blade of grass,” Alex Iwobi said.
The Nigerian continued, “When I’ve played in midfield, it’s annoying trying to track him and get away from him.
“He’s good on the ball, and he’s gonna work as hard off the ball. He’s a great player for Arsenal to have, and for me he’s definitely one to be world-class.”
Iwobi has enjoyed good form in the 2024/25 English Premier League season. He is looking forward to a strong finish to the campaign with his Fulham side.
