Spanish-Moroccan stars Lamine Yamal sends cryptic message ahead of Barcelona-Real Madrid Cup final
Spain international of Moroccan descent Lamine Yamal is gearing up for the much-anticipated Copa del Rey final between Barcelona and Real Madrid.
The two-most glamourous clubs in Spain will battle it out for the Copa del Rey title on Saturday in Sevilla.
Yamal was in action when Barcelona secured a narrow victory over Real Mallorca on Tuesday night to move a step further in the La Liga race.
Dani Olmo’s strike was enough for the host to snatch maximum points in the highly competitive clash.
Yamal after the game shared a message on social media, signaling his readiness for the game against Real Madrid. He posted a photo with the caption, “SATURDAY” repeated three times.
The enterprising winger, who has Equatorial Guinea’s root anticipation is understandable, as a victory in Saturday’s match would secure Barcelona’s first trophy of the current season. The Catalans already won the Spanish Super Cup in winter, but it was still considered part of the previous season.
The 17-year-old has scored 14 goals and provided 22 assists in 47 appearances for the Catalans across competitions.
