Kaizer Chiefs defender Given Msimango has praised the quality of Chippa United ahead of their Premier League clash this weekend.
In a highly competitive clash on Saturday, Chippa United will play host to Kaizer Chiefs in the South African top-flight.
Msimango emphasized that despite regular victories over Chippa United, the upcoming match should be approached with utmost seriousness, which he also expects from his teammates.
“Chippa is a very competitive team, very structured and very disciplined. We’ve already beaten them in the league [1-0 in Durban in December], and also triumphed over them in the cup [3-0 in the Nedbank Cup round of 32 at FNB Stadium]. But that doesn’t change the fact that we demand and expect full concentration from the guys. We are ready to match their energy and intensity on the day,” Msimango stated.
Kaizer Chiefs are currently eight on the Premier League standings, accumulating 30 points, while Chippa United sit 9th spot with 29 points.
