English Premier League legend Alan Shearer has heaped praise on Egypt and Liverpool sensation, Mohamed Salah.
According to him, the Egyptian attacker has incredible talent and will continue to score goals in the English Premier League for Liverpool.
Shearer’s praise comes after Mohamed Salah moved behind him in the ranking of players with the most goals in the EPL.
Salah, who currently has 153 Premier League goals, needs 77 more to surpass Shearer’s long-standing record of 260.
“I’m delighted to see another great player sitting behind me for another couple of years.
“He’s an incredible talent, he’ll definitely have a chance the way he’s been, the way he is and the way Liverpool are going,” Alan Shearer said in an interview.
The former Newcastle United star continued, “Liverpool are only going to go one way, they’re going to get better, they’re going to sign players in the summer, they’re going to win the league this season. He’ll have a good go like a few others have.”
This season, Mohamed Salah has been unstoppable for Liverpool. He has scored 32 goals and provided 23 assists in 46 matches.
He is leading the top scorers chart in the EPL and is set to lead Liverpool to clinch the league title at the end of the season.
