The first football team of Zamalek resumed its training this Thursday afternoon at the club’s stadium after a well-deserved one-week break following their return from Angola, where they faced Sagrada in the fourth round of the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.
Mahmoud Abdel Razek “Shikabala,” the team’s playmaker, engaged in a series of diverse rehabilitative and physical exercises inside the gymnasium.
This regimen aligns with the player’s program devised by the team’s coaching staff, led by Mo’tamed Gamal, to prepare him optimally for the upcoming period.
Shikabala limited himself to physical and rehabilitative exercises within the gymnasium without participating in the group training.
This decision was made by the team’s coaching staff.
Meanwhile, Mo’tamed Gamal, the head coach of the first football team at Zamalek, held a session with the players before the start of the training.
He commended the players for their efforts during the past period and expressed his hope that the negative rest period would bear fruit, ensuring they are in optimal condition for the upcoming period.
The head coach urged the players to make the most of the current period, working with full force and concentration during training.
At the end of the session, the coach explained the team’s training program for the day.
