The prestigious Tiamma Hotel in Abidjan, the capital of Côte d’Ivoire, is set to host the Egyptian national team during the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations competition.
Côte d’Ivoire will be hosting the finals of the tournament, kicking off on January 13, 2024, and concluding on February 11 of the same month.
According to information obtained by FilGoal.com, the Egyptian national team will be accommodated at the Tiamma Hotel in the capital city, Abidjan, during the Africa Cup of Nations.
Situated in the Plateau area of the Ivorian capital, Abidjan, the Tiamma Hotel provides the Egyptian team with a convenient location, requiring only a five-minute journey to reach the Felix Houphouët-Boigny Stadium, where all of Egypt’s matches will take place.
This stadium, located in the capital city, has a seating capacity of 33,000 spectators.
Additionally, the team’s training facility at the Plant Training Complex is a 35-minute drive from their accommodation.
Egypt finds itself at the helm of Group 2 in the qualifiers for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, accompanied by Ghana, Cape Verde, and Mozambique.
Coach Vitoria had previously unveiled a preliminary list for the tournament, featuring 55 players.
The tentative travel date to Côte d’Ivoire is set for the ninth of the next month.
It’s worth noting that Egypt will play a friendly match against Tanzania in Cairo on January 7.
