French-Algeria midfielder Rayan Cherki has declared war on Manchester United ahead of their Europa League quarterfinal clash on Thursday.
The French Ligue 1 giants will play host to Manchester United in the first leg of the Europa League before traveling for the return fixture, to be held at the Old Trafford.
Cherki, one of the most outstanding players for Lyon this season in an interview declared his sides’ readiness for the crunch game against the Premier League giants.
“We are ready to wage war against them,” said Rayan Cherki.
The 21-year-old midfielder has been impressive in the Europa League this season, serving eight assists, the highest in the competition so far.
In all competitions, the talented French-Algerian players has racked up six goals and provided 18 assists from 36 appearances this season.
