Morocco giants Wydad Casablanca are planning to appoint Orlando Pirates trainer Jose Riveiro as their new head following their inconsistent performance.
Wydad are expected to part ways with current manager Rhulani Mokwena following the club’s below par performance. The Morocco giants are said to have targeted Riveiro, who is expected to depart Pirates at the end of the season.
Currently, Wydad Casablanca sit third place in the Moroccan league, trailing log leaders by 13 points.
The Spanish gaffer is leaving the South African giants at the end of the season, ending his three-year spell with Pirates.
According to reports, the leadership of Wydad Casablanca are interested in appointing Riveiro as their next coach.
Rhulani Mokwena’s possible departure from Wydad Casablanca was fueled by the club elimination from the Moroccan Cup competition.
