Congolese striker Hans Mpongo has extended his stay with Dutch lower-tier cub Rijnvogels following an impressive performance.

The 22-year-old, who joined the club in summer 2024 from Slovenian outfit Sežana, has established himself as a key member of the tea, scoring crucial goals for the fourth-tier team in the ongoing campaign.

Mpongo has racked up six goals and provided two assists from 16 appearances in the Dutch fourth-tier this season.

However, the club has opted to extend his contract due to his physical strength and finishing ability.

Now that his future is certain, Mpongo can focus on improving and supporting Rijnvogels in their quest for further success in the forthcoming season.

Meanwhile, the talented forward is yet to feature for the Congolese national team despite recent performance.
