We have made history as RS Berkane’s golden generation – Yassine El-Bhiri

RS Berkane attacker, Yassine El-Bhiri has commened his teammates after winning the Moroccan topflight for the first im the club’s hostory.

Berkane clinched the title after drawing 1-1 with Ittihad Touarga on Saturday. Berkane now has 60 points, leading the standings with five rounds remaining.

“We have written the history of Renaissance Berkane with a new golden generation,” El-Bhiri told Kooora.

“The previous generation also made history when they led Renaissance Berkane to their first title, the Throne Cup, seven years ago.

“I cannot express the extent of the pride we feel after making the Renaissance Berkane fans happy.

“I recently renewed my contract with the team. I feel very comfortable here, and the bet now is on competing for all local and African titles,” he added.

RS Berkane will represent Morocco in next season’s CAF Champions League.
