After experiencing the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) football final with Burkina Faso, Paul Put, the coach of the Stallions, is expressing a desire to return to his native country, Belgium. The coach, currently under contract for two more years with Burkina Faso, cites family considerations as the primary reason for his wish to work in Belgium or somewhere closer to home. Although discussions have taken place with Belgian first-division teams, there is nothing concrete at the moment. Paul Put has been coaching in Africa, spending around 70% of his time on the continent.
