English Premier League side Manchester United have identified a new talent to replace Kobbie Mainoo should he leave the club.
Kobbie Mainoo, 19, has been linked with a move away from Manchester United in the last few months.
The England talent with Ghanaian roots is reportedly on the transfer list of fellow English Premier League side Chelsea.
Preparing for the possible exit of Kobbie Mainoo, Manchester United have identified Middlesbrough midfielder Hayden Hackney as the likely replacement.
Mainoo currently has two years remaining on his current contract at Old Trafford. Although Manchester United have tried to extend his contract, no progress has been made.
The midfielder is reportedly demanding a weekly salary of at least €215,000 (£180,000) to extend his stay with the Red Devils.
Manchester United are now prepared for the exit of Mainoo and will swiftly go in for Hayden Hackney in the summer transfer window when it becomes necessary.
