Mohamed Salah’s future has been a source of speculation since his contract with Liverpool expires in the summer of 2025.
Reports from Spanish outlet Fichajes.net suggested Bayern Munich had serious interest in the Egyptian star, but those claims have now been shot down.
Christian Falk, head of football at Bild, has dismissed the rumors, stating Mohamed Salah is not on Bayern’s radar. “It is not true that Bayern would be ready to buy Mo Salah when his contract expires in Liverpool,” Falk wrote in his column for CaughtOffside, as quoted by sport.de.
Falk further clarified that there is “no movement on the part of Bayern, regardless of what happens to his contract.”
Financial constraints appear to be a key factor. Salah, currently earning over £350,000 per week, is far beyond Bayern’s wage structure, making a deal highly unlikely. Despite the speculation, it seems the German giants have no plans to pursue Liverpool’s prolific forward.
