Algeria international Farid Boulaya has been awarded Qatari Football League Goal of the Month for February.
The 32-year-old experienced midfielder scored stunning goal for Al Wakrah against Al Khor, winning him the prestigious award.
Boulaya joined Al Wakrah on a one-year deal last summer and has since established himself as a key cog to the team.
Since joining the club, the Algerian midfielder has made 13 appearances, scoring four goals and providing four assists across competitions.
Having bagged goal of the month, Boulaya will be hoping for more as the season unfolds in Qatar.
His current contract with Al Wakrah is expected to expire at the end of the season.
Boulaya has made eight appearances for the Algeria national team, scoring just a goal since making his debut in October 2020.
