Clement Mzize is making a significant impact for Young Africans in the 2024-2025 season, with the Tanzanian forward delivering a string of impressive performances that underline his growing reputation.

After breaking into the first team during the second half of the 2022-2023 campaign, Mzize quickly showcased his potential by scoring five goals and registering one assist in 14 appearances.

The 21-year-old built on that promise the following season, notching 10 goals and six assists across 20 matches in all competitions.

Mzize’s progression has continued this term, with the striker emerging as a key figure for Young Africans. He has already amassed 15 goals and two assists in 14 matches, reinforcing his status as one of the standout talents in Tanzanian football.

Alongside Zimbabwean teammate Prince Dube, who has netted 11 times, Mzize has been instrumental in Young Africans’ ascent to the top of the Tanzanian Premier League table.

The forward’s exploits have also extended to continental competitions, scoring twice in four CAF Champions League outings this season.

With his blend of finishing ability and attacking instinct, Mzize remains a player with significant potential to further develop in the coming years.

As Young Africans push for silverware, Mzize’s contributions could prove decisive in their pursuit of domestic and continental success.
