Hassania Union Sport Agadir (HUSA) has turned down an offer from Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt for Moroccan U17 international Mohamed Amine Katiba, as the two clubs remain apart on the player’s valuation.
Eintracht Frankfurt submitted a bid of €500,000 for the promising midfielder, but the Moroccan outfit rejected the proposal, holding out for a fee of €1.2 million, according to several local reports.
Katiba, who represented Morocco at the U17 World Cup, has been a standout performer for HUSA, attracting attention from European clubs with his technical ability and composure on the ball.
The 17-year-old’s performances have made him one of the most sought-after young talents in Moroccan football, with HUSA determined to secure what they believe is fair market value for their rising star.
Negotiations are expected to continue, with Eintracht Frankfurt reportedly considering whether to submit an improved offer in the coming weeks.
