Bayern Munich’s efforts to secure winger Leroy Sané’s future are gaining momentum.
Honorary President Uli Hoeneß recently highlighted the winger’s exceptional talent, emphasizing the club’s desire for more consistent performances.
“He has outstanding skills. But he needs to know if you want to be a top performer, what he can be absolutely, then you have to play consistently well,” Hoeneß stated.
Uli Hoeneß also acknowledged Sané’s injury challenges, noting, “However, you have to keep to him that he was also very often injured.” With Sané’s contract set to expire in 2025, discussions about an extension or potential transfer are underway.
Recent reports suggest a “positive exchange” between Leroy Sané and the Munich outfit, with the player open to a performance-based contract that includes a wage reduction. As the season progresses, Bayern Munich’s management will closely monitor Leroy Sané’s contributions and fitness to inform their decision on his future with the team.
