Real Madrid attacker Brahim Diaz has expressed his happiness with the victory over Real Sociedad in the first leg of the Copa del Rey.
The Los Blanco defeated Sociedad 1-0, with Endrick scoring the only goal of the game at the Anoeta Stadium.
Speaking after the game with Spanish channel Movistar, the Moroccan attacker expressed his excitement, saying, “It’s always difficult to play here, but we played a great game and competed well. Winning at this stadium is not easy, but the team was at a high level, and we managed to get a positive result.
“We are in a great moment of the season, and we have to continue like this. We have proven that we are strong at crucial time,s and we are fighting for all titles.”
Diaz also spoke about reaching 100 matches with Real Madrid, saying, “It is a great honour to be here at the best club in the world. Reaching 100 matches is something incredible, and I feel proud of my family and myself. Just thinking about it gives me goosebumps. I hope to play more matches and achieve a lot of success.”

With this victory, Real Madrid puts one foot in the final match, especially since the second leg will be held at their stadium, the “Santiago Bernabéu”, on April 1.
