Brazilian forward with Cameroonian roots, Vinicius Jr has stated emphatically that he wants to stay at Real Madrid.
The talented forward is a transfer target of several clubs in Saudi Arabia, who are willing to pay big money to secure his services for the Pro League.
This week, multiple sources have indicated that Vinicius Jr has a €240 million offer from a Saudi club, which could make him the World’s most expensive player.
However, speaking in a post-match interview after helping Real Madrid to beat Real Sociedad on Wednesday night, Vinicius Jr stressed that he is committed to the Spanish giants.
He noted that although he has played many games for Los Blancos, he wants to make more history with the club.
“Being so young and having played so many games is something I never imagined or dreamed of. I’ll soon reach 300, but I want more, I want to reach 400 and 500. I hope to make history at this club,” the Brazilian said.
It is expected that the interested Saudi clubs will continue to woo Vinicius Jr with money, especially ahead of the summer transfer window.
