France forward of Congolese descent, Christopher Nkunku dazzled with a goal and an assist on Tuesday night, helping Chelsea to hammer Southampton 4-0 in the English Premier League.
The forward started for the Blues at Stamford Bridge in their Round 27 fixture of the 2024/25 league campaign.
Christopher Nkunku opened the scoring in the 24th minute with a header that left the goalkeeper with no chance. He then turned provider in the 36th minute, setting up Pedro Neto for Chelsea’s second goal.
Before halftime, Levi Colwill extended the lead with another header, putting the Blues in complete control. Marc Cucurella sealed the rout in the 78th minute with a clinical finish, capping off a dominant performance from Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
Following his contributions on Tuesday night, Christopher Nkunku now has three goals and two assists after making 23 appearances in the English Premier League this season.
