Austrian midfielder of Nigerian descent, Carney Chukwuemeka is reportedly living in a hotel as a Borussia Dortmund player.
The youngster signed for the German Bundesliga side in the winter transfer window on loan from English Premier League club Chelsea.
Although Carney Chukwuemeka had an impressive debut, his life off the pitch isn’t.
The 21-year-old is currently living in a hotel and has yet to fully settle into his new surroundings. Language remains a barrier, as he speaks only English, and he tends to keep a low profile within the squad.
However, he has formed close bonds with teammates Giovanni Reyna and Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, which has helped his integration into the team.
Meanwhile, Carney Chukwuemeka’s future is currently uncertain. He could land a permanent deal with Borussia Dortmund at the end of the season but must prove worthy in upcoming games.
