Ghana’s Prince Amoako Junior to sign first professional contract with FC Nordsjælland

Danish Superliga club, FC Nordsjælland, have reached an agreement to sign promising Ghanaian talent Prince Amoako Junior from their affiliated Right to Dream Academy in Ghana.

The 18-year-old winger is set to undergo a medical examination and sign his first professional contract in the coming days.

Amoako’s impending move to FC Nordsjælland continues a well-established pathway for talented young players from the Right to Dream Academy to European football.

He follows in the footsteps of notable predecessors such as Mohammed Kudus, Kamaldeen Sulemana, and Simon Adingra, all of whom have successfully transitioned from the academy to professional careers in Europe through FC Nordsjælland.

The young Ghanaian is set to join Jens Olsen’s squad for the second half of the current season, bolstering the team’s attacking options as they strive to improve their current 7th place standing in the Danish Superliga.

Amoako’s previous training stints with Nordsjælland have already provided him with valuable experience, facilitating a smoother transition into the professional ranks.

In a heartfelt message shared on his social media platforms, Junior expressed profound gratitude for his eight-year journey at the Right to Dream Academy.

“Truly, it all starts with a dream,” he wrote, acknowledging the profound impact the academy has had on his life and career.

He thanked the entire academy community, including coaches, staff, and fellow players, for their support and dedication.

The transfer of Amoako to FC Nordsjælland underscores the strong relationship between the club and the Right to Dream Academy.

This partnership, which began in 2015 when Right to Dream acquired the Danish club, has created a unique model for developing young talent and providing a structured pathway from academy to professional football.
