Premier League powerhouses Arsenal and Liverpool are reportedly vying for the signature of Eintracht Frankfurt’s prolific striker, Hugo Ekitike.
The 22-year-old French-Cameroonian has attracted interest from both clubs, as well as West Ham United, according to Foot Mercato.
Hugo Ekitike’s journey saw him depart Paris Saint-Germain in the winter of 2024 after disagreements with head coach Luis Enrique and sporting director Luis Campos over a proposed role in the pursuit of Randal Kolo Muani. He subsequently joined Eintracht Frankfurt on loan, impressing with standout performances that led to a permanent €16 million transfer. Under contract until 2029, Hugo Ekitike has flourished this season, amassing 17 goals and six assists across all competitions.
While Eintracht Frankfurt initially planned to retain Hugo Ekitike for another year before considering a lucrative transfer in 2026, the mounting interest from Premier League outfits Arsenal and Liverpool might prompt the Bundesliga club to reconsider their stance as early as next summer.
