Zinédine Zidane has expressed his belief that David Beckham’s signing for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is more than just a marketing move. On Canal+, Zidane stated, “He will surprise you. He is a truly great professional. He’s going to show some people what professionalism is, and that can’t hurt some guys today. He doesn’t come to play all the matches, 90 minutes. He comes to add his touch, and he is able to do that in twenty minutes, half an hour.” Zidane praised Beckham’s unique skills, especially his free kicks, and emphasized that, at 37, Beckham continues to play for the passion of the game.
Zidane also shared his admiration for Zlatan Ibrahimovic, highlighting the striker’s impressive movement despite his size and weight. He acknowledged Ibrahimovic’s strong personality but suggested that, beneath the exterior, he is a sensitive person who may put on a tough facade during interviews.
