Algerian defender Essaïd Belkalem, currently playing for Jeunesse Sportive de Kabylie, has expressed his ambition to move to a European club after his contract with JSK expires at the end of the season. Belkalem, who represented Algeria in the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations, sees this as an opportunity to experience football in a more competitive environment. Despite Algeria’s early exit from the tournament, he views the CAN 2013 as a valuable experience, having played alongside notable players like Adebayor and Drogba. Belkalem believes that the lessons learned from such experiences will be beneficial for the future.
