Cameroonian football star Samuel Eto’o has become the subject of a comic strip titled “Eto’o fils, birth of a champion.” The comic series, presented by Eto’o himself at the Angoulême Festival, aims to depict his life and inspire children by showing them that it’s possible to start from nothing and achieve greatness. The project is created by Cameroonian designer Joëlle Esso and will consist of nine volumes. Eto’o, known for his successful football career, also engages in philanthropy, donating part of his salary to training centers and hospitals in Cameroon.
