Togolese attacking midfielder Asmiou Ayewa has secured a move to Wacker Burghausen, a German club in the third division. The 21-year-old player, who was a former resident of the Liberty Agbodrafor academy in Lomé, signed the contract on the final day of the European transfer window. Asmiou Ayewa, who previously played for NK Ljubljana in Slovenia, spent some time in Dubai before joining Wacker Burghausen.
The talented Togolese midfielder will play for Wacker Burghausen until the end of the season. He will be coached by Michael Wiesinger, who has already seen Ayewa in action. Florian Hahn, one of the team’s executives, expressed excitement about having Asmiou Ayewa join the squad, describing him as a talented player they look forward to developing further.
