Ghana secured a 3-0 victory against Niger in their Group B match. Asamoah Gyan, the captain of the Black Stars, played a crucial role in his team’s win, scoring in the 6th minute and assisting in the goals scored by Christian Atsu in the 23rd minute and John Boye in the 50th minute. Despite some saves by Niger’s goalkeeper, Kassaly, Ghana dominated the match. With this victory, Ghana finished at the top of Group B and will face Cape Verde in the quarter-finals.
