Zamalek SC has officially announced the signing of Tunisian midfielder Ahmed Al Jafali from US Monastir, marking their fourth acquisition of the winter transfer window.
The 22-year-old has signed a three-and-a-half-year contract with the Egyptian Premier League club.
Deal finalized before deadline
The transfer was agreed upon before the Egyptian winter window closed on February 8, 2025, but Zamalek only confirmed the signing on February 10 through their official social media channels.
Al Jafali’s arrival is part of the club’s strategy to reinforce their squad for the remainder of the season.
Strengthening the squad
Al Jafali joins a growing list of winter signings at Zamalek, following the arrivals of Mahmoud Gehad, Ahmed Hassan, and Moroccan midfielder Salah El-Din Mossadek.
The club secured his services for a transfer fee of $500,000, payable in two installments.
Focus on upcoming matches
With their latest signing now confirmed, Zamalek shifts focus to their next Egyptian Premier League fixture against Pharco FC.
Head coach Christian Gross will be looking to integrate Al Jafali into the squad as the club aims for a strong finish to the season.
