Paris Saint-Germain right-back Achraf Hakimi is set to return to action as Luis Enrique’s side prepares to face Brest in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League play-off on Tuesday.
The Moroccan international missed PSG’s 4-1 Ligue 1 victory over Monaco last Friday due to illness but is now back in the squad.
Hakimi, who recently extended his contract with the club, will bolster PSG’s defensive options as they seek a strong start in the knockout phase of Europe’s premier competition.
However, young midfielder Warren Zaire-Emery remains absent due to a lingering ankle injury.
The highly rated 18-year-old has been instrumental for PSG in the Champions League this season but will have to wait before making his return to the pitch.
PSG’s squad for the crucial encounter against Brest includes:
Goalkeepers: Donnarumma, Safonov, Tenas.
Defenders: Beraldo, Hakimi, Hernandez, Kimpembe, Marquinhos, Mendes, Pacho.
Midfielders: Doué, Lee, Mayulu, Neves, Vitinha, Ruiz.
Forwards: Barcola, Dembélé, Kvaratskhelia, Ramos.
With Hakimi back in the fold, PSG will be aiming for a dominant performance as they seek to advance to the next stage of the competition.
