Strasbourg’s Marvin Senaya is on the move, joining Swiss club Lausanne-Sport on loan until the end of the season.
The 23-year-old right-back has faced limited playing time under manager Liam Rosenior, starting just once in Ligue 1 this season and accumulating a mere 220 minutes of action. With Guéla Doué ahead of him in the pecking order, opportunities have been scarce, and Senaya has only appeared in 10 games for the Alsace club this campaign.
A product of Strasbourg’s youth ranks, Senaya made his senior debut for the team in 2022 after spending a season on loan at Sochaux, where he gained valuable experience in Ligue 2. The move to Lausanne offers Senaya a chance to showcase his talents and earn more playing time in a competitive environment. With his contract at Strasbourg running through 2027, the loan deal provides both parties with a potential stepping stone for the future.
Senaya, whose father is retired Togolese international Yao Mawuko Sènaya, will look to make a strong impression in Switzerland.
