Danish-Nigerian full-back Patrick Dorgu vows to bring intensity and strength to Man United

Patrick Dorgu, Manchester United’s latest signing from Lecce, has expressed his commitment to enhancing the team’s performance with his physicality and intensity on the pitch.

The 20-year-old defender, who has been assigned the No. 13 jersey at Old Trafford, recently finalized a five-and-a-half-year contract with the club.

Dorgu was born in Denmark but of Nigerian descent though has decided to commit his future to the European country.

In an interview with the club’s official website, Dorgu stated, “I think I’m going to bring a lot of intensity and physique on the pitch. And a lot of energy and running.” His confidence reflects the determination he has to make a significant impact within the team.

Dorgu also highlighted the importance of mental strength in football, sharing insights from his time in Italy.

He noted, “When I have been in Italy, I have lived alone. Of course, my family visits me often, but you need to be really good mentally to stay focused and concentrated on football.”
