Samba Lélé Diba is on the verge of joining French club Grenoble Foot 38, as the Ligue 2 side looks to bolster its squad following the departure of Pape Meissa Ba to Schalke 04.

The Senegalese midfielder is set to arrive from Kallithea, a club in Greece’s top division.

Before finalizing his contract, which will run until June 2028, Diba must undergo a medical examination on Thursday—a step expected to be a mere formality unless unforeseen issues arise.

Kallithea will receive €300,000 in compensation for the transfer.

Diba, a defensive midfielder, is no stranger to European football. Before his stint in Greece, he spent two seasons with Swiss club Servette FC from 2022 to 2024.

Now, at Grenoble, he will seek to take the next step in his career and make his mark in French football.
