Spanish defender of Guinean descent, Alejandro Balde has hailed Neymar Jr. as the greatest player of his generation after Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
“I grew up watching Neymar. After Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, I think Neymar is the best player of our generation,” Balde said.
The Brazilian superstar made a name for himself at Barcelona, where he dazzled fans with his skill and creativity. Despite his achievements, he never won the Ballon d’Or.
After leaving Barcelona, Neymar moved to Paris Saint-Germain before joining Al Hilal in Saudi Arabia. However, recurring injuries hampered his consistency.
Now, the Brazilian forward has returned to Santos, the club where his journey to stardom began.
