Aston Villa in final talks with Chelsea to complete Axel Disasi signing

French defender Axel Disasi has agreed to make the switch from Chelsea to Aston Villa in the ongoing transfer window.

The 25-year-old, who has Congolese and Angolan heritage, has given his approval for the move and is set to finalize personal terms with the Villans.

Despite attracting interest from several clubs across Europe, Disasi has chosen Aston Villa after direct talks with manager Unai Emery, who played a key role in securing his commitment. The deal now hinges on negotiations between Chelsea and Villa, with discussions centred around a loan move that includes a loan fee and full salary coverage.

With Serie A and Premier League clubs also expressing interest, Axel Disasi remains firm in his decision to join Villa, prioritizing the project at Villa Park over other potential opportunities.

His move to the Midlands club is now only a matter of finalising the agreement between the two sides.
