Chelsea is keeping a close eye on Lyon’s rising star, Enzo Molebe, according to Le Parisien.
The 17-year-old striker is seen as one of the brightest talents emerging from Olympique Lyonnais’ renowned academy. Despite limited senior appearances this season, Molebe has already made an impact, coming on as a substitute in Lyon’s Coupe de France match against Entente Feignies-Aulnoye and their impressive 4-1 Europa League victory over Qarabag.
Molebe, who is contracted with Lyon until 2027, faces a pivotal decision in the coming days as the winter transfer window nears its close. Chelsea, who are reportedly keen on securing his services, may ramp up their pursuit in the next few days.
It’s speculated that the Premier League club could sign Molebe with the intention of loaning him to BlueCo-owned RC Strasbourg in Ligue 1, offering him valuable game time and further development without stalling his progress. The talented youngster’s future remains uncertain as the window draws to a close.
