Egyptian club Pyramids FC has turned down a bid from Getafe for winger Ibrahim Adel, signaling their reluctance to part with one of their key players unless a significantly improved offer is made.

Getafe has shown sustained interest in the 23-year-old, who gained international recognition during the Tokyo Olympics.

Adel’s standout performances included scoring twice against Spain in the group stage and adding another goal in the quarterfinals before Egypt’s semifinal exit.

According to Spanish outlet Relevo, Getafe proposed a loan deal worth €150,000, with an option to buy for over €2.5 million.

The offer also included a clause giving Pyramids 40% of any future transfer fee.

However, Pyramids swiftly rejected the bid, deeming the financial terms insufficient.

A source close to Pyramids clarified that Getafe’s bid is the only official approach for Adel, dismissing reports linking Wolverhampton Wanderers and Club Brugge to the Egyptian winger.

While Adel is reportedly keen on making a move to Europe during this transfer window, Pyramids’ firm stance suggests the transfer may not materialize unless Getafe returns with a substantially better offer.
