Amine Gouiri’s time at Stade Rennais could soon be coming to an end as Galatasaray prepare their first official offer for the Algerian forward.
The Turkish giants have been monitoring Gouiri’s situation closely, seeking to add firepower to their attack in the second half of the season.
Having signed Gouiri for a club-record €28 million in 2022, Rennes have seen little return on their investment, with the 24-year-old struggling to consistently hit the heights expected. Despite the forward’s inconsistent performances, Galatasaray are reportedly willing to offer €13 million, less than half of what Rennes paid for him.
However, the deal is expected to face significant resistance, with Rennes not keen on parting with their number 10. Reports indicate that Gouiri himself does not consider the Turkish league a priority in the event of a departure, making this transfer move an uphill battle for the Super Lig club.
