Ghanaian forward Elvis Amoh has officially signed with USL Championship side Indy Eleven, pending league and federation approval.
Amoh, known for his scoring prowess and versatility, joins Indy Eleven after an impressive six-season stint in the league, including a standout run with Detroit City FC in 2024.
Standing tall at 6’2″, the Kumasi native has notched 42 goals and eight assists in 134 USLC appearances, solidifying his reputation as a consistent threat in the attacking third. In his last campaign, the 32-year-old played a pivotal role in Detroit City FC’s franchise-best #3 seed finish in the Eastern Conference, contributing three goals and three assists across 1,000 minutes of action.
Amoh’s career highlights include a stellar 2022 season with Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC, where he scored a personal-best 13 goals and helped the team reach the Western Conference Final. Before embarking on his USLC journey, Amoh honed his craft in Ghana with Asante Kotoko SC and the West African Football Academy, as well as abroad in Canada and the Czech Republic.
Amoh becomes the fourth Ghanaian to represent Indy Eleven, joining a lineage of impactful players from his homeland.
