Lebanese club Nejmeh have opened negotiations with Ghanaian forward Collins Opare over a return to the team.
The 23-year-old Ghanaian attacker joined the Lebanese Premier League outfit in August 2024, signing a one-year deal with the club.
His current contract is expected to expire in August 2025 and according to reports, Nejmeh are in talks with the Ghanaian attacker to join the team’s training.
Despite Nejmeh willingness to welcome Opare at the club, he has yet to make a decision due to fear over security situation in Lebanon.
Nejmeh lost Khalil Bader to Al-Yarmouk in Kuwait, and Mohammed Sadiq who joined Ighalo FC in Greece.
This time, they are determined to maintain core of their squad including the Ghanaian forward.
