Top Nigerian goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali has lost his mother, Africasoccer.com can report.
The sad incident according to information gathered occurred on Wednesday, January 1. The cause of death is, however, unclear.
The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) confirmed the sad demise of the goalkeeper’s mother in a post on social media.
In the post, the NFF extended its condolences to Stanley Nwabali and wished him strength during this difficult time.
“Our heartfelt condolences to Stanley Nwabali on the loss of his mother. Stay strong, Stanley. Sending you strength and support during this difficult time. You are not alone; we are all with you,” the NFF said in a post on X.
