German Bundesliga powerhouse Bayern Munich are reportedly monitoring Spanish international of Ghanaian descent Nico Williams.
Williams, who plies his trade for Spanish outfit Athletic Bilbao has emerged as a top transfer target for several clubs including Bayern and French giants Paris Saint Germain due to his outstanding performance.
The 22-year-old came close to joining Barcelona following a swashbuckling performance for Spain at the 2024 European Championship. He registered his name on the scoresheet as La Roja annexed the title over England.
Meanwhile, Bayern Munich faces competition from Paris Saint Germain, who are desperate to trigger Williams’€58 million release clause.
