Real Madrid are close to dropping their interest in Bayern Munich left-back, Alphonso Davies.
The Ghanaian-born defender whose contract at Bayern expires this summer has been strongly linked to the La Liga giants for the past months.
Despite the interest from Liverpool and Manchester United, it is believed that Davies is close to extending his stay at the club this summer.
With Davies’ decision, Real Madrid have withdrawn their interest in signing the exciting left-back.
The Madrid team believes that the 24-year-old is likely to extend his contract with Bayern Munich and therefore does not want to waste any time.
Instead, Los Blancos are focusing on another target and are increasingly interested in Theo Hernandez, the brother of Lucas Hernandez, who once played for Bayern Munich.
Alphonso Davies has scored just once for Bayern Munich in the ongoing season in 21 matches.
