Éric-Junior Dina-Ebimbe finds himself in a testing phase at Eintracht Frankfurt.
The talented 24-year-old midfielder, who hasn’t made a Bundesliga appearance since early November, is striving to regain his spot under coach Dino Toppmöller’s strategic squad decisions.
“He trained properly. But we then decided on other players in his position. You can’t blame Junior for anything, quite the opposite,” Toppmöller remarked, shedding light on Dina-Ebimbe’s situation.
Despite the challenging circumstances, Toppmöller commended the Frenchman’s professional attitude: “He comes here, puts his foot down in training, although of course it’s not easy for him mentally either.”
Speculations of a potential winter move were firmly dismissed by the coach, who reaffirmed his trust in the squad and Dina-Ebimbe’s future: “We have no plans to give away or loan out players. I am very, very happy and satisfied with the squad.”
Bound to Eintracht until 2027, Dina-Ebimbe remains a valued part of Toppmöller’s plans, navigating a period of adjustment with resilience and professionalism.
