Greenville Triumph SC has secured the services of Ghanaian forward Ropapa Mensah for the 2025 season, pending league and federation approval.
The 27-year-old striker, renowned for his goal-scoring exploits, brings a decade of professional experience spanning the USL Championship and beyond.
Mensah most recently lit up USL League One with the Chattanooga Red Wolves SC, where he netted an impressive 21 goals over two seasons, including 13 game-winning strikes across his career. His stellar 2024 campaign saw him finish among the league’s best, ranking fourth in goals (9) and penalty kicks converted (2), and ninth in shots on target per 90 minutes (1.20). His efforts earned him the USL League One Player of the Month honor in April 2024 after tallying five goal contributions in just one month.
Having also played for USL Championship sides Sporting Kansas City II and Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC, as well as Egypt’s Port Fouad SC, Mensah brings a wealth of experience and a proven eye for goal.
Mensah joins Greenville as their first new signing for 2025, complementing a core of nine returning players poised for success.
