Pharco FC and El Geish played out a 1-1 draw in their Egypt Cup group stage opener on Thursday, December 12.

In injury time, Sherif capitalized on an assist from Shokry Naguib to bring the match level, ensuring the home side would share the spoils.
The game ended with both teams tied at 1-1, leaving them each with a point from the opening fixture of the group stage.
In the other match of the day, Ghazl El Mahallah triumphed 3-1 over ZED, securing an important victory in their campaign.
